Black Summer Cuddle Buddy
Lightweight comfort for warm nights outside.
The Summer Cuddle Buddy is a smaller, single-sided camp pad cover designed for river trips, car camping, cots, and cozy nights under the stars. Made from soft, stretchy jersey-knit cotton, it creates a cooler, more comfortable sleeping surface without adding the extra warmth of fleece.
Elastic runs around the edge, with reinforced corners to help keep the cover securely in place overnight. Its smaller size makes it a great fit for compact camp mattresses, sleeping pads, and sleep setups where a full-size Cuddle Buddy feels like more than you need.
Easy to pack, easy to wash, and made for summer adventures.

Meet Your Sleep Kit’s Favorite Upgrade
What the heck is a "summer" Cuddle Buddy?
Meet the lighter side of camp comfort. The Summer Cuddle Buddy is a soft, breathable sleeping pad cover made for warm river trips, camping, car camping, and cozy nights outside.
Made with stretchy jersey knit cotton, it slips over your sleeping pad like a fitted sheet and gives your sleep setup a cleaner, softer, more comfortable feel — without the extra warmth of fleece.
Why Guides Love It
When your whole summer is spent living outside, a little extra comfort goes a long way. A Cuddle Buddy turns your sleeping pad into a softer, warmer, cleaner place to land after a big day on the river, at camp, or on the road.
It’s reusable, washable, and made to last through more than one season of adventure.
Why the people love the cuddle buddy
The Summer Cuddle Buddy gives your sleeping pad a softer, cleaner, more comfortable feel without adding the extra warmth of fleece. It’s the warm-weather version of one of our favorite camp comfort upgrades — simple, breathable, and made for nights outside.
Perfect for:
- Summer river trips
- Warm-weather camping
- Car camping
- Desert nights
- Road trips
- Guest sleep setups
- Anyone who hates sleeping directly on a pad
How It Works
Simple steps
Slip it over your sleeping pad like a fitted sheet, stretch it into place, and crawl into a softer camp setup.
No complicated gear. No bulky bedding. Just a simple cotton layer that makes your pad feel better after a long day outside.
Will It Fit My Sleeping Pad?
Simple steps
Cuddle Buddies are designed as a universal fit for most sleeping pads used for rafting, camping, and car camping.
Because sleeping pads vary by brand and shape, the fit may look slightly different from pad to pad, but the design is made to be flexible, functional, and easy to use.
