Machine wash cold.
Cold water helps protect the fabric, color, and overall feel of your fleece.

Tumble dry low or hang to dry.
Low heat is best. Hang drying is even gentler and helps your gear last longer.

Avoid high heat.
High heat can be hard on fleece and may affect the fit, texture, or lifespan of your gear.

Before washing, zip any zippers, close snaps if possible, and check pockets for chapstick, snacks, river treasures, or mystery items from your last adventure.

Wash your fleece with similar colors using cold water and a gentle cycle when possible.

Best Practice

• Wash cold
• Use mild detergent
• Wash with similar colors
• Avoid bleach
• Avoid fabric softener
• Close zippers before washing
• Detailed pieces inside out if you want extra protection

For best results, tumble dry low or hang to dry.

Hang drying is the gentlest option and helps preserve the feel and shape of your fleece over time. If you use a dryer, keep it on low heat and remove items once they are dry.

Avoid

• High heat
• Over-drying
• Ironing fleece
• Dry cleaning unless a product tag specifically says otherwise
